It is a mushroom that grows in a symbiotic relationship with the
roots of suitable host plants and in autumn can be found fruiting
on the soil around them. Mushrooms of these fungi have a strong
flavour. Unlike most mushrooms they maintain their flavour after
drying or cooking at autoclave temperatures. They can be eaten fresh,
dried or salted.
It is a high
nutrition mushroom. Each 100g mushroom contains 10g protein, 4g
fat, 20 types of amino acids, various mineral and vitamins.
A good item
to maintain health. It enhances the ability of immune system functions,
decrease the oxygen consumption, increase the capacity of hemoglobin.
It is also helpful to anticancer and flu.
It is also used as a Chinese medicine. For example, it is the major
ingredient of Shujin Wan, which is reputed to stimulate blood circulation
and to relax the muscles and joints.
